I am Nyi Min San, a photographer, branding consultant, and IT professional who is passionate about design, technology, and community impact. My career journey spans over a decade and showcases a blend of technical expertise, creative pursuits, and dedication to social causes.
2007: My professional journey began as an IT Administrator at Chindwin College, where I managed databases, upgraded web designs, ensured server security, and introduced tech advancements to improve the college’s infrastructure. Alongside my IT role, I pursued my love for photography and worked as an editor for *Lawka-Ahla* online magazine, a web designer at Tharapar Creation Group, and a consultant for Mandalay Rays.
2008: I started my own business, HEXAGON, selling digital accessories and unique items to secure financial stability in the challenging professional landscape of Myanmar.
2010: I joined Asia Green Development Bank Ltd. (AGD) as an ICT Manager and later advanced to Admin Manager in 2011. I also volunteered with the Htoo Foundation while continuing my freelance web design and consulting work.
2011: While working at AGD, I became the editor of *The Nature Myanmar Photography Magazine* under Htoo Foundation’s management and attended a General Banking course that expanded my professional network.
2012: I returned to Mandalay as an Admin Manager, handling admin work and currency transportation for Upper Myanmar. Later, I was promoted to Senior Manager at AGD’s head office in Yangon, overseeing ATM network development and managing various departments, including media and procurement.
2012-2014: I joined the Chairman’s Office at Htoo Group of Companies as a General Manager and PA, managing ICT, media, and administration. This role provided invaluable business insights and broadened my understanding of Myanmar’s corporate landscape. During this period, I also became an MBA candidate at Northampton University, UK.

2014: I co-founded YAT Group, a media production partnership, to focus on documentaries and event coverage. I paused my MBA studies to dedicate time to this new venture.
2015: I joined Ayeyar Hinthar Holding Group as an assistant to the Managing Director, working on industrial zone projects and media initiatives. This role offered stability while living in Yangon.
2016: I became a Board Member and Chief Technical Officer at Brilliant Values Co., Ltd., launching a software house with partners and accepting a part-time consulting role at TOP HR Solutions. I also co-founded Idea Coach 25 Co., Ltd., focusing on media-related projects.
2019: I was honored to work with Daw Aung San Suu Kyi as part of the NLD office, handling the nationwide digital campaign for the elections. This role included analysis reporting, promotional video production, live streaming, and media team management.
2020: After the military coup in Myanmar, I was listed under 505(A) by the military junta. Despite the risks, I contributed to the revolution by designing campaigns, capturing impactful photographs, and supporting the local community. On April 15, the junta publicly announced my inclusion in the 505(A) list. From day one, I have dedicated myself to supporting the movement, participating in the Oxford Tea Circle, and working tirelessly without rest.
2024: I continue to be actively involved in supporting the revolution and am now planning to establish a business aimed at benefiting the Civil Disobedience Movement (CDM). My journey, marked by resilience and a deep commitment to both my profession and community, is shared here on this site.
